| Engineering - Stand Alone Solutions |
Old School Industries, Inc.
can design and manufacture the complete solution for your application.
Do you have that application where it has never been done before
and
probably
won't
be done again? Need to integrate several pieces of equipment into
a single solution? We've done it all before. Listed here are some
applications for which we have provided solutions. Some of these
examples are proprietary, therefore they just serve as a representation
of
our capabilities. Others are solutions which are major revisions
on our standard product. |

| X axis Linear
Ball Bearing Platform Stage |
 |
Securely mounted to a table top is base allows attachment of any OSI vertical column and horizontal arm. The platform was capable of traversing 30 ". Coupled with a standard BB arm the system would allow the user to scan the optics over a 12.5" x 30 " area. |

| Gimbaled Mount
Linear Ball Bearing X/Y to Floor Stand |

|
Designed to allow easy, effortless
x/y movement over a 24" x 24" area. This assemblage
was made to extend over an inline conveyor and was mounted
to a floor
stand (shown here on a U-base). To assure optics were perpendicular
to the surface of the board,
the x/y movement were attached to a gimbals. |

| Mobile Dark
Room Stand |
| |
This stand features 1.5 meters
motorized vertical travel, 24" x 24" of X/Y travel. In addition,
the system was required to be enclosed in a light tight box.
Other features include a spring loaded access door, and spring
loaded vibration dampening feet, optical bench type specimen
surface. |
