| < Previous | This family of stands has in common the 1010H 10" x
10" x 1.25" powder painted heavy steel base weighing 35
pounds. These stands approximately 15 pounds heavier than standard stands
with the 1010S base. Ideal for heavier research microscopes.
The cross blocks have bronze bushings cast into them to provide a lubricious surface upon which the vertical and horizontal shafts slide. The vertical post is made of solid stainless steel. All stands include Old School's Quick release safety clamp. The horizontal arms are made of extruded aluminum with a clear anodized coat to prevent corrosion. The horizontal arm has a key way in it to prevent the microscope from rotating around when mounted above the horizontal arm. Unlike a flat on a bar, the key way also allows the user to place the optical axis perpendicular to the work surface. The horizontal arm is designed to accept the industry standard 5/8" "Bonder Pin" dowel from the top, bottom or end on. If the microscope does not have a 5/8" dowel choose one of Old School's tilting or straight adapters. The horizontal arm may be rotated 360 degrees around the vertical post. Data Sheet (pdf format) |
